Sir Alex Ferguson has been in this game long enough not to count Arsenal out of the title race. But there is a condition. IF Arsenal’s old enemy doesn’t return – injuries; though it seems they already have returned as Nasri is out for six weeks and Rosicky for 8 weeks.
“If Arsenal keep clear of injuries, they’ll be up there challenging. Cesc Fabregas has been the architect of that team for the last three or four years.
“I think they’ll be stronger than last season.”
Good thing Ferguson didn’t mention Arsenal in the same sentence as Man City like Arsenal and Man City are going to be title contenders this season! We are way better than them and don’t deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence as them!

He always talks nice about teams hes less afraid of.
Nonetheless its true we will challenge if we stay injury-free. The competition looks to be less fierce this season too in a way. Everton, man city and villa will be as strong or stronger, but liverpool, chelsea (no hiddink) and man utd in particular have weakened. Atm I make liverpool favourites for the title, but things can change quickly

I also thought Liverpool are favs but now that ALonso has left, i dun think so anymore. I think Chelsea are favs now. Ancelloti is good and hes especially good with old players and thats what chelsea is full of!

Naa, what did he do with milan really? He did brilliantly in the CL, but in serie a theyve been nothing for years. If theyd kept hiddink id bet all my money on chelsea.

Does anyone remember Fergie expressing his surprise when Wenger was linked with signing attack minded players without any with defensive strengths just last season?
And does Fergie say a bad word against sides he is NOT in competition with?
Believe Fergie at your peril

I really believe that SAF is speakin truth. We have not stengthened, and have lost players, so natruallly we are getting worst.
They lost ronaldo and will never be able to to replace him. so in reality they got worst to…losing ronaldo lowers them a level, closer to our standards.but we are falling to.. i think SAF is saying that so arsene believe his team is strong to, and so in the end he wont need to buy. again fucking us over, as manu will still be better than us..

I feel like were still missing something since we lost to valencia today…. Anyone have the lineup?

Loss to Valencia means that the average quality of our players is not good enough. We have better players replaced in the second half, resulted in the loss. It will be another story if we play again in any competition.
Having said that, Wenger shall look into the problem and sign good enough players promptly to improve the depth of our squad.

Arsenal will be stronger. How with that translate in to a high finish in the table? We will soon find out. Man U lost Nani for a while. Bad blow to Man U. Man U looks a lot quicker that last year. http://bobbygee.wordpress.com/

evryone seem to be judging man u and arsenal on the previous games alone. man u where up for it like a cup final, arsenal where more ”testing” our players and giving everyone a run, i dont think results were as important for wenger as it is for us fans.
i still think arsenal will win the league this year!

if we sign chamakh, and matuidi or viera. Then we will be complete. We dont necessarily need a striker but we need depth in the striker area because if RvP and Eduardo both get injured were some what screwed over
