Arsenal have won back their 4th place after thrashing Blackburn 4-0 and they got some unlikely help from bitter rivals Spurs who surprisingly beat Aston Villa 2-1 at Villa Park. It was quite a match between the two. But in the last few minutes when Villa scored to make it 2-1, it was like deja vu. Arsenal let slip a 2-0 lead at the same venue and I feared Spurs would do the same but fortunately they got away with the win!  So now Arsenal sit pretty at 4th place, the spot they have been battling to win back for quite some time now. They are ahead of Aston Villa only on goal difference though so just because they are at 4th now doesn’t mean they will end up 4th at the end of the season. Hope they don’t get carried away with it because the season ahead will be very tough. Matches against Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United remain. Chelsea are in hot form since Guus Hiddink took over. Liverpool have made it a habit this seaon to beat the big 4 away from home. Ended Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge unbeaten run early in the season and now thrashed a full strength Manchester United at Old Trafford. Their visit to the Emirates remains so one can expect a very close encounter. Manchester United we all know have been very impressive all season so the match is going to be tough. But lets be positive, Arsenal have an impressive record against big teams.

Anyways thank you Spuds!
