Arsenal travel to Rome with a 1 goal lead and with Roma under pressure which showed as Pizzaro accepted Arsenal have more chances of going through to the quarters. He said:

“When you consider the characteristics they have, such a mentality could be fatal, but we have to be better than them. They are quick and turn the ball over very well. This is also our way of playing football, so we’ll see who does it best.”

He also admitted that they have only a 45% chance of winning the tie. It will obviously be a tough match but Arsenal have the advantage. Arsenal have the lead, so Roma cannot afford to sit back so they will go for all out attacking football which is bound to leave gaps at the back. To make use of that I would prefer a start for Walcott for quick counter attacks and make use of open spaces in their defence. Eduardo is in form but coming back from a long injury, I don’t think he should be given two starts in a row. A 4-2-3-1 once again would be a great formation. With Song looking better than ever and Denilson doing fine, it gives defensive stability. Walcott, Nasri and Eboue ahead of them and they can be deadly with van Persie the lone striker. In my opinion this would be an awesome line-up.

Roma will be without De Rossi who is suspended and Perrota who is injured. Totti also faces a late fitness test but he should make it. But Roma will feel the absence of their missing duo particularly the influential De Rossi. Arsenal on the other hand will still be without Adebayor, Toure will most probably not feature. And Walcott and Eduardo who weren’t available in the 1st leg will be back.

Roma are coming back from first a 3-3 draw away at Inter and then a 1-1 draw against Udinese whereas Arsenal come into the game with 3-1 and 3-0 wins

I expect Arsenal to win this one but van Persie will need to improve his finishing. He has been missing sitters lately. 2-1 to Arsenal I think.
