Robin van Persie helped ensure qualification for the FIFA World Cup 2010. They are the first side to have guaranteed their spot. Fellow Gunner Nicklas Bendtner are also not far away from qualifying as they defeated neighbors Sweded 1-0.
The Dutchman had a decent match though he could not finish off his chances as he failed to make it to the score sheet. But Holland were not to regret those missed chances as they triumphed 2-1 over Iceland.
